Door closing forces of 15-20 lbs. (7-9kg) recommended for best results (not to exceed 50 lbs.-23kg). Release efforts are approximately proportional to door closing forces.

Tighten to the fastener manufacturers' recommmended torque value, however, do not exceed 100 in-lbs. (11.3 N-m)
