compartment doors for light to medium duty on or off-road applications.
Offering compact size for a cost effective price, this ergonomic handle

TriMark Enjoys a Successful
UMA Motorcoach Expo
Once again TriMark products were a hit with many of the 2,000+
national and international attendees at the most recent UMA Motorcoach Expo
held in Tampa this past January. TriMark displayed a wide-range of
innovative products developed for the Bus/Motorcoach and Mass Transit
markets in the US and Europe. On display was a wide range of innovative
products -- handles, latches, striker bolts, linkages and related system
components of truly exceptional quality. This is why so many OEM's think
TriMark's door hardware door systems are "special."
In-line with its overall business strategy and based to a large degree on
its comprehensive and well-accepted products for the RV industry, TriMark
continues to broaden its aggressive expansion into the Bus and Motor Coach
market. Several aspects of this growth market are similar to (RVs) such as
chassis, baggage doors, entrance doors and rear engine covers. In addition,

It's Shaping Up to be An Exciting Year at
TriMark
|
|
|
|
We are just a few months into the New Year and it is already looking like
2011 will be a busy one for TriMark as well as our customers. While
there is no magic in the turning of the calendar from one year to the next,
there is a certain level of hope and expectation that the New Year will
bring better things for us all. The following is a short list of what is happening
at TriMark and in the markets we serve:
- In
2011, TriMark will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary. Look
for additional information on some of the activities we have planned
for the year to celebrate this milestone with the people who made it
possible – TriMark employees and our loyal customers.
- Customer
Survey – we recently completed a Customer Survey which was very
helpful in identifying areas where TriMark meets or exceeds
customer's expectations as well as areas where we need to expend some
energy in improving our performance. Thank you to all who participated
and special thanks to those of you who agreed to be contacted in the
future for special research projects.
- TriMark
recently participated in the UMA Motor Coach Expo in Tampa and once
again it was a very productive show for TriMark. We continue to
build awareness and relevancy with potential customers in this growing
market segment. We are also forming some very good
"friendships" with complementary suppliers which are win-win
situations for all concerned.
- One
area we watch very closely is the availability and costs of raw
materials. At this time we are seeing some storm clouds on the horizon
driven to a large degree by the price of fuel.
- Business
dynamics – several months ago I mentioned that we were working
diligently to get our supply and demand back in "sync."
While we have made good strides in this area, we are now seeing a
different type of dynamic from suppliers and customers. We have
suppliers who are passing along price increases and at the same time
our customers are requesting that we hold the line.

e-ASK
 TriMark is
featuring its successful e-ASK (electronic Access and Security
Keyless-entry) products in Booth 3621 at the upcoming Work Truck Show in
Indianapolis from March 8 – 10, 2011. The exhibit will feature TriMark's
popular mechanical and electronic products and includes keyless entry,
power latch release and control of lighting, horns, sirens, sensors,
motorized actuators and solenoids.
Our ambition is to make access and use of the vehicle easier and safer
thanks to our products. Considering the needs of both the OEM's and the end
users, TriMark develops mechanical and electrical system solutions
that are useful, beneficial and add value to our customers' products. TriMark
systems are now able to communicate with common multiplexing protocols of
on and off-road vehicles as well as providing integration with vehicle
security systems. This approach promotes OEM systems integration and ultimately
creates increased productivity and an enhanced end-user experience.
e-FOB Transmitter
 Several options
are available for e-FOB's that are compatible with most TriMark
e-ASK keyless entry systems:
- Value
priced 2 button FOB and 2 button wall mount provides freedom and
convenience of placement for remote
- 2
Button key head FOB packages the ignition key inside the FOB for
convenience
- 4-Button
FOB is available in a standard and a cargo mode to allow for either
traditional automotive features or independent control of main
entrance vs. compartment doors. A sustained mode is also available
that provides a continuous output control for various auxiliary
functions.
- High
security – code hopping technology offers reliable radio frequency
(RF) transmission and is FCC-Part 15 certified
Keypads
 TriMark's user-friendly keypad systems provide
visual, audible and touch feedback. Keypads can be mounted horizontally,
vertically, and with means to protect against vandalism and other
tampering. This integrated system offers increased security, convenience
and functionality with reduced system installation complexity and lower
installation costs.
One of TriMark's new products areas is the e-PAD Keypad with Relays.
This stand alone keypad will provide cost-effective and simple power door
lock/door latch control. The keypad will provide increased security and
convenience with limited functionality to minimize system and installation
cost. Demanding users in the travel trailer, tool box, and low end
motorized RV market will appreciate the high-end functionality at a value
price.
Power Lock Actuators
 TriMark has several high quality power door lock
actuators available with a variety of features and configurations. The actuators
have been tested and validated to meet stringent requirements thus insuring
a long life of trouble free operation.
TriMark power actuators are designed for TriMark handles and
latches designed to perform a push/pull function and they are easy to
install either by integrating mounting directly into available TriMark
latches and paddles or with universal hardware parts for flexibility. High
output versions are also available for latch actuation featuring power
release.
Mechatronic Systems
Upgraded complete mechatronic door systems can include other user
interfaces, such as keypads or RFID and additional security system
peripherals. Kits are available and can include handles, latches and
electronic accessories including custom wiring harnesses, relays, switches,
door contacts, actuators, mounting hardware, sirens and lighting to provide
a comprehensive electro-mechanical access solution.

Convenience and Security are Hallmarks of

TriMark offers a single-key locking
solution for the operation of multiple locking products on a vehicle.
 Features/Benefits:
- The
"One Key - One Vehicle" program - provides the OEM the
opportunity to line sequence the key code requirements without having
to order key cylinders or hardware kits keyed alike in advance of
build requirements. System allows the use of the same lock cylinder
for multiple TriMark product's, keeping the lock part numbers
to a minimum
- Modular
KeyOne Plus locking solution can be extended to include ignition
locks, fuel caps and other points of access that would benefit from
sharing lock cylinders and key code coordination. Main product
(handles) can be purchased in bulk at larger quantity or use fewer
part numbers by keying at the customer end
- Automotive-style
lock with a larger body diameter for enhanced security features a high
quality shutter system and perimeter waterproof seal that is water
resistant - double seals reduces the infiltration of dirt and water
into the lock
- Available
in a wide variety of codes which allows the customer flexibility in
keying a unit alike. To protect overall security, KeyOne Plus can be
keyed differently for each individual unit.
- Provides
the ability to service, replace or upgrade the lock cylinder at any
time offering OEM's, dealers, service technician's and end users the
option to adjust the level of security and convenience or replace in
the event of lost keys or lock cylinder failure - no disassembly of
the product or door is required
Because the handles/latches, locks and
keys are supplied separately, you can order exactly what you want and need,
with corresponding volumes that suit your specific requirements, promoting
product value through increased efficiency, economies of scale, reduction
of inventory and purchased part numbers.
